Activities/Mobilization Team

While serving on the SubCamp 10 Activities/Mobilization Staff, our responsibilities were:

Assist with the arrival of our troops by riding the bus from the gate to their campsite, where we handed them over to their Unit Commissioner.
Mobilize the troops for both Arena Shows.
One member of our team rode the Special Needs Bus to and from each of the Arena Shows to ensure our Scouts and Scouters with special needs made it to the arena shows.
Station ourselves during the 5K Run/Walk so we could monitor the safety of all of the participants.
Maintain inventory of sports equipment and make it available for checkout to troops during the jamboree.
Organize SubCamp volleyball tournament.
Organize SubCamp Gateway Competition.
Organize SubCamp Patrol Flag Competition, sponsored by Boys' Life Magazine.
Maintain and check out GPS units for geocaching.
Manage the recordkeeping of Geocache participants and award daily prize coins from DeLorme.
Assist with the departure of our troops at the conclusion of Jamboree.
Help ensure the participants have the experience of their lifetime and take home memories that will last a lifetime.
