This drawing is for an authentic 1935 National
Jamboree patch, which is a much sought-after collector's item. The
1935 National Jamboree was scheduled to coincide with the 25th
anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. Unfortunately, this
Jamboree was canceled (just weeks before planned) in Washington,
D.C. due to a polio epidemic. As a result, the first National
Jamboree was rescheduled to 1937. A National Jamboree patch from
1935 is rarely seen in such an excellent shape as the one (shown
below) for this drawing. The 1935 National Jamboree patch, along
with the one from the 1937 event, are often considered the two most
difficult patches to obtain in a National Jamboree set.
